Hitachi Shows off PJ-TX300 Cine Master 720p LCD projector
Hitachi rolled out its PJ-TX300 Cine Master projector, an 720p LCD box aimed at the home theater market. Rolled out in Germany at IFA 2006, it's packing some serious specs, with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, an HDMI socket, 10-bit video processing and three LCDs shining at a brightness of 1200 ANSI lumens.
With its rounded looks and shiny black finish, we had to do a double take at this smoothly-designed projector, thinking at first it was from InFocus. Hitachi didn't announce pricing but word on the street has it costing around €1900 (about $2443). Not bad for a 720p three-LCD product. No word on US availability yet. Bigger pics after the jump.
