Thoughts on Ad Tech Chicago

Some interesting stuff from Ad Tech Chicago. Here are a few snippets, in no particular order: Video rich sites were of course big: The Bar (He can't make a sidecar, however.)
Experience WonderYou (Interesting perspective on how to sell women's undergarments)
Landrover USA (Beautifully done vehicle 360) Almost every presentation started with knowing your user and the discussions of personas and persona development was everywhere. We didn't see a whole lot of evidence of it being done well, but it is sure on everyone's mind.

An interesting definition of a marketing application, in the broadest sense:
  • They get to know people that use them (they change)
  • They can remember
  • They can lead directly to a purchase or other activity

A great definition of design:
  • Design is the conscious planning of meaningful acts that influence our relationship to others, the unborn and the web of life. So with this we are all designers and creators.

The multi screen world, its coming fast:
  • 50% of people in Japan access the internet on cell phone vs. PC, so get ready!

Heroes anime from Animax cut for slices of characters Disney

Telechannel Animax (registered trade mark Sony Pictures Enertainment Inc.) in perfect trashes to a manner has declared the beginning of translation in Brazil of anime-cartoon films in a round-the-clock mode. Advertising agency Publicis Brasil has developed the original creative concept for promotion Animax on the market of Brazil. The idea means a victory anime above usual Disney-style animation.

Levi’s has just released two new pictures of their upcoming RedWire DLX jeans. Just to recap, these jeans feature an integrated iPod
