Essentially it's hands-free Skype, offering what's described as "crystal-clear, natural conversations" while you keep tapping away at your keyboard. The Polycom Communicator features two microphones, which also create a good enough range for group conference calling, with Polycom’s Acoustic Clarity Technology removing any echoes and feedback from the conversation. Controls on the front launch Skype, along with picking up/hanging up calls and adjusting your volume. And if you don't want everyone listening in, there's also a port to plug in your headphones.
